Four floors of antiques, art and collectibles make up the majority of the stores within the Cassino Atlântico shopping mall at the Arpoador end of Copacabana beside the Sofitel hotel. The basement is largely occupied with furniture of a more modern disposition thanks to the singularly over-priced Tok'n'Stok, but it is to the ground and upper floors that curious collectible-hunters should head.

The likes of Style D'Art and F. Quartilho may exist as much to satisfy the owners' expensive hobbies as conjuring up any real sense of commerce, but the Aladdin's cave glow of polished copper, brass and wood is an irresistible draw. More modern artwork can be found at Movimento, where graffiti artists and painters are represented, whilst the central café is a fine spot for a little laidback refreshment. Every Saturday a bizarre world of rugs is laid out and stalls are set up with everything from antique silver to authentic '70s Ray-bans to be bargained over.
